International Year of Forests 2011
10.01.2008The United Nations General Assembly declared 2011 as the International Year of Forests to raise awareness on sustainable management, conservation and sustainable development of all types of forests.
New courses of Forest Pedagogy
05.03.2006During May 2010 till June 2011 are going to run 4 courses of forest pedagogy for 60 people.

Welcome on a website on Forest Pedagogy
which invites you to discover and experience the forest by all senses. This website introduces the activities of Forest Pedagogy, it gives a space for Forest Pedagogues to share and exchange some information and also creates a space for learning by doing on forest ecosystem for everyone.
The website www.lesnapedagogika.sk has been since 2006. An upgrade and redesign of website was in 2009 by founding from Rural Development Programme 2007 – 2013,
a measure: 1.6. Vocational Education and Information Activities, within the project “Conception of Forest Pedagogy as tool for Raising of Public relations about Sustainable Development of Forestry.”
Our website has new English version since 2010.
